Ofsted has announced it will inspect every school by 2025. It is therefore vital that headteachers/principals and senior leaders can demonstrate they are taking robust action on school improvement, addressing the areas for development identified at the previous inspection and securing sustainable improvements in student outcomes.

“My mission is clear; I want to make sure every single child across our country has access to an excellent education, supporting them to reach the full height of their potential.”

Nadhim Zahawi, Education Secretary

In the best schools, there is a clear vision and actions are taken within the context of the school improvement plan. If it’s not in the plan, it doesn’t get done.

But what makes an effective school improvement plan and how can school leaders and teachers convert a plan into tangible action in order to sustainably improve their school for the benefit of all students and the wider community?

In this virtual masterclass, former school principal and MAT leader, now an education author and advisor, Matt Bromley, offers a raft of practical advice for leading schools to success.
