By 2026, the use of Artificial Intelligence will not be optional; it will be an integral part of the educational landscape. The challenge for schools is to manage this powerful technology strategically. This masterclass addresses this head-on, treating AI integration as an essential leadership and safeguarding issue. It aligns directly with national priorities such as teacher workload reduction and the DfE’s policy on evidence-based practice. Furthermore, having a robust and ethical approach to AI is a key indicator of effective leadership and management, something Ofsted will increasingly look for. <br><br> This is not a technical training session on how to use specific apps. Instead, you will develop the lasting skills of AI literacy. You will learn how to critically evaluate AI-generated content, how to use it to save valuable time without compromising on pedagogical quality, and how to navigate the ethical minefield of data privacy and algorithmic bias. Having served over 25 years as a teacher and school leader in the UK, Steve is now in demand as a consultant, trainer, inspector, and author, specialising in the areas of leadership development, effective classroom pedagogy and practice; and school inspection, improvement, and development.
