Join us for a vital and insightful session on addressing harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) in schools, designed to empower educators with the knowledge and tools to safeguard pupils effectively. This half day masterclass begins with a clear exploration of what constitutes harmful sexual behaviour, helping professionals distinguish between developmentally appropriate actions and those of concern. You’ll gain practical guidance on recognising early warning signs across age groups, including the rising threat of online HSB. With a focus on proactive strategies, the session delves into how schools can embed preventative education through robust PSHE and RSE programmes, fostering an understanding of consent, healthy relationships, and digital safety.

The masterclass continues with an in-depth look at leading a whole-school response to HSB, from supporting disclosures to creating a culture of openness and trust. Learn how to review and implement effective policies, maintain accurate records, and engage in multi-agency collaboration. A dedicated section addresses how to respond appropriately to low-level incidents, ensuring your school is equipped to act swiftly and sensitively.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
