This course will guide you in how to showcase your English curriculum with clarity and impact under the new Ofsted framework. This practical session equips you to present a compelling, evidence-based narrative of your curriculum’s intent, implementation, and impact.
This practical course is designed to support English subject leaders and teachers in confidently articulating the intent, implementation, and impact of their curriculum in line with the revised Ofsted framework (from November 2025). It explores how to align curriculum design with national policy and guidance, ensuring provision is inclusive, ambitious, and coherently sequenced to meet the needs of all learners. Through practical strategies and real examples, participants will develop the language and evidence needed to demonstrate high-quality teaching and learning beyond outcomes alone.
Alongside this, the course provides dedicated opportunities for professional discussion and reflection, encouraging participants to share experiences, debate ideas, and refine their approach in a supportive setting. This session aims to build confidence and help translate research-informed practice into meaningful classroom and leadership strategies. By the end, colleaguess will leave with a clearer curriculum narrative, practical tools for self-evaluation, and renewed confidence to present their English provision effectively.
