“Children deserve the best possible education; their parents deserve the best possible information and education professionals deserve to have their work fairly assessed by experts. The changes we are presenting today aim to achieve all three of these things.”

Martyn Oliver, Chief Inspector in Schools

“School inspections are evolving, and we must ensure that this new era is one of transparency, fairness and support – not fear.”

Steve Rollett, Deputy Chief Executive, Confederation of School Trusts

“Safeguarding shouldn’t just pass inspection – it should be lived in every classroom, corridor and conversation.”

Victoria Raynor, Safeguarding Consultant

“Inclusion can’t be an afterthought. The new framework must recognise and reward those who put equity at the centre.”

Contributor to Schools Week

“Curriculum conversations during inspection can either empower a school’s vision or reduce it to paperwork – let’s make it the former.”

Matt Pinkett, Author and Teacher

Ofsted has now announced the details of the new Inspection Framework which will be in place from November 2025. Inspectors will now award grades on a 5-point scale across a range of new evaluation areas, using the report card system.

With evolving expectations and new priorities, understanding exactly what inspectors are looking for has never been more important. As the education sector prepares for an updated inspection framework, this timely conference brings together school leaders, experienced inspectors, safeguarding specialists, and policy experts to explore what’s new, what’s on the horizon, and what these changes mean in day-to-day practice.

Whether you’re grappling with increased curriculum scrutiny, preparing for a safeguarding review, or championing inclusive and equitable practice, this event is designed to provide practical insight, clear guidance, and effective tools to help you feel confident and truly inspection ready.

This is an essential conference for school and trust leaders who want to stay ahead of the curve, decode shifting inspection criteria, and respond proactively, all while maintaining focus on what matters most: the wellbeing of pupils, the support of staff, and the health of your school’s culture.
